The Samen Onze Solidariteit Foundation was established on the initiative of President Monika Brinkman Maczka. The help offered by the SOS Foundation is pragmatic and fast. This is also reflected in our logo. The hand symbolizes help to a drowning person. The heart in the hand shows the passion with which the SOS Foundation helps people.
We help because we can.
The Samen Onze Solidariteit (SOS) Foundation aims to offer help to (economic) migrants from Central and Eastern European countries (CEE countries) in the field of work, housing and social affairs in the Netherlands. This help should be understood in the broadest sense of the word.
Due to the free movement of people and services in Eastern Europe, more than 225,000 people in Central and Eastern Europe live and work in the Netherlands. In fact, this figure is underestimated, even hundreds of thousands more. Over 60% of these people are of Polish origin, and the statistical data of the Netherlands show that there are currently over 176,000 registered Polish economic migrants.

If you want to contact us to get information, if you have questions or if you wish to report a problem that you are having with the authorities, landlord, employer or other, please fill in the form and include a brief description indicating the nature of the problem. We will contact you as soon as possible, but certainly within 24 hours.
Become our donor
We established the SOS Foundation in 2020 and that is why we are still very young. The financial help provided by donations is very helpful for us and enables the development of our charitable activities. Even a little support is valuable to us. The SOS Foundation is a non-profit organization and pursues its goals only with the support of volunteers. We try to cover these costs. If you accept the goals of Stichting SOS, want to be kept informed about our progress and the services that we can offer you, you can become our donor. You can register by using the application form on the website and transfering any amount to our account.
